The launch event was honored by the presence of the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. K.P. Sharma Oli, who officially unveiled the vehicle. He was joined by key figures including Mr. Anil Shrestha, Chairman of Cimex Inc.; Ms. Yamuna Shrestha, Managing Director of Cimex Inc.; Mr. Hari Bansha Acharya, BYD Brand Ambassador for Nepal; and Ms. Asmi Shrestha, BYD Brand Endorser for Nepal.

The BYD Atto 2 aims to combine compact dimensions and agile maneuverability with the practicality of an SUV. It is equipped with BYD’s signature Blade Battery, intelligent in-cabin technology, and premium comfort features, offering a “big-car” experience in a smaller package.
The BYD Atto 2 is now available in Nepal at an introductory price of NRs. 43.99 lakhs, which includes a 7kW wall-mounted charger.

Key Features and Design
The BYD Atto 2 features a distinctive, chunky SUV design with a compact footprint. Its dimensions are 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. The vehicle also boasts an elevated 200 mm ground clearance, making it suitable for both urban and suburban Nepali roads.
Powered by a revolutionary 51.13 kWh BYD Blade Battery, the Atto 2 offers a WLTP driving range of up to 345 km. Its 100 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor generates 290 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds. The exterior design is highlighted by full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, a floating roofline, and a unique full-width LED taillight bar.
Interior and Technology
The interior of the Atto 2 focuses on both style and practicality. It features synthetic leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and power-adjustable driver and passenger seats. The cabin’s spaciousness is enhanced by a flat EV floor design, and the 60/40 split rear seats provide cargo flexibility.
Technology is a central component of the Atto 2, with a 12.8-inch intelligent rotating touchscreen display, wired and wireless Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a voice assistant.
Advanced Safety and Launch Offers
Safety is a top priority, with the Atto 2 offering Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including:
