The award was presented at a special ceremony held in Singapore on Tuesday. Ram Bahadur Bhandari, Member of the Board of Directors at Global IME Bank, and Shishir Shakya, Manager of Treasury and Correspondent Banking, accepted the award on behalf of the bank.

Established in 1992 by Euromoney magazine, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence honor outstanding performance, innovation, and leadership in the financial services industry worldwide. This marks the third time Global IME Bank has received the Euromoney award, having previously been honored in 2022 and 2024. The bank’s consistent recognition underscores its position as a leading financial institution in Nepal.
In addition to this year’s Euromoney accolade, Global IME Bank has also been awarded the Global Finance’s Best Bank Award in both 2024 and 2025. It also secured wins in two categories under the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024, further solidifying its industry leadership.
